TRACK FIELDS NORCO ' S LARGEST TEAM - 82 ATHLETES The Cougar track team has started the 1983 season with much enthusiasm. They are ready to take the GIF Championships: both boys and girls. They began by having a car wash to raise money for track uniforms. A good team must look good too. Even though the season is not over yet, the coaches have much hope for their team. The girls ' swim team started this sea- son with a 3-0-1 record in non-league meets. Two relay teams qualified for C.I.F. competition-the 200 medley relay and the 400 freestyle relay-in the first few weeks of the season. This outstanding team also had other potential C.I.F. qua- lifers. Among them: Cindy Gillespie in IM; Sandra Meckoll in 200 free and 100 fly; Liz Perez in 100 back and 100 fly; Wendy Webb in 200 and 500 free; Tracy Whifford in 100 fly and 100 free, and Renai Reed in 50 free and 100 breast.
