Coach Cherri Pittman led the J.V. Girls ' basketball team this year. J.V. GIRLS ' BASKETBALL WORKS FOR EXCELLENCE The abilities of the girls ' junior basketball team were unsurpassed. The individ- ual mennbers of the team placed their pride and personal glories aside and combined their efforts as a team to make Norco High 1 . The ups and downs of the season were learning experiences for the team, but the girls never gave up. The understanding and patience between teammates on and off the court was essential to the success of the team. The dedication to their sport was never swayed by the strenuous practices and hard work laid out by their coach, Che rrie Pittman. Two more years of glory are in store for Norco High, as this team is composed of all sophomores. Their coach, is a second year student at Cal Poly Pomona. J.V. WRESTLING NHS looks forward to an improving wrestling teann in the future years, due to the new coach, Mr. Phil Reddish, and the many freshmen and sophomores on the team. This year two members of our wrestling team placed first in the league: Bob Kels Kelsoe and Hector Loustaunau. We had three members go to GIF: Bob Kelsoe, Hector Loustaunau and Steve Harris, and three members of our wrestling team were alternates in GIF: Gus Gutierrez, Robert Small and Goerge King.
