BASKETBALL TEAM BOUNCES ITS WAY THROUGH THE SEASON During the long winter, after football season is over, Norco High ' s basketball team puts on the entertainment for the student body. There ' s nothing more fun then cheering the team. The basketball team practices long hours for months to sharpen their game skills for upcoming games. Norco High is exceedingly proud of their boys basketball team and with reason to be. Coach Cherri Pittman led the J.V. Girls ' basketball team this year. J.V. GIRLS ' BASKETBALL WORKS FOR EXCELLENCE The abilities of the girls ' junior basketball team were unsurpassed. The individ- ual mennbers of the team placed their pride and personal glories aside and combined their efforts as a team to make Norco High 1 . The ups and downs of the season were learning experiences for the team, but the girls never gave up. The understanding and patience between teammates on and off the court was essential to the success of the team. The dedication to their sport was never swayed by the strenuous practices and hard work laid out by their coach, Che rrie Pittman. Two more years of glory are in store for Norco High, as this team is composed of all sophomores. Their coach, is a second year student at Cal Poly Pomona. J.V.
