In the spring many students go there on picnics or hikes. In the winter the scene changes from hikers to skiers. The resorts open and the slopes fill up. Anyone can ski: a couple of lessons and a person who ' s never seen the snow is soon skiing down the baby slopes. Then the more exper- ience one has, the bigger the slopes get, until finally it ' s the top of the hill! Skiing is one of the most popular pas- times on a mountain vacation. THE JUNIOR EXPERIENCE The year that we thought would never end is now about to draw to a close. We all have enjoyed this year because it was our turn to tease the sophomores, to act crazy without making fools of ourselves, and to drive our cars out to lunch (as opposed to having to beg for a ride from upper class- men). We ' ve all been busy discovering all the new activities there are to do around N.H.S., but also who we are. Many of us have found that we are finally growing up and that each of us has something in our- selves that we can be proud of. Next year is our last on the N.H.S. campus and we are all ready to put an all-out effort in making the class of 84 ' s senior year the best that Norco has ever seen. Juniors Penny Milterson, Candy Johannessen and Chefyl Gravelle are joined by senior Ellen Clem on tourist day.
