The pasr four years rhe Varsiry ream as posted a 27- 2 record. CNor many reams claim rhis disrincrionb Tim Schamber and Bill Coleman were rhe only rwo runners wirh CIF comperirion experience. The resr of rhe Varsiry runners were virrually novices, rhus making rhis year's accomplishmenrs even more remarkable. The pasr seven years have been auire rewarding for me. I will miss Cross Counrry rremendously bur I feel rhar Coach Nugenr's reams will conrinue rhe grear rradirion already esrablished here. This year's reams exemplified rhe highesr srandards of sporrsmanship and winning. If has rruely been a pleasure being able ro coach rhese fine runners rhar are a rribure ro Norco High and rhe community, The Girls Varsiry again won rhe IVY League Championship for rhe 3rd srraighr year. Their record for rhe pasr rhree years is 211. They were led by rhe srrong perfoing of Shawna Shevirski, Sherri Evans and Colleen Srorler. The JV record for rhe pasr four years is 27-1. They were led rhis year by Jrs, Satoshi Inoue, Paul Kingsbury and Jeff Fuller.
