The Norco team played extremely well all year long. They had two exciting overtime wins against Rubidioux and Ramona and even in there losses they played exciting football and were in every game until the end. Norco defense was very aggressive with excellent team tackling. They led the league in fewest touchdowns scored by the rush and were also number one in fumble turnovers. Norco's offense had a very balanced attack that could both run and pass. The running game was led by Todd Gerhart, Mr. Inside, and Aaron Brown, Mr. Outside. The passing game pulled Norco our of many tight spors and on many crutial situations you would see quarterback Kent Wilson throw to all-league tight end Derrick Pinnecker. The big question mark at the start of the season was how well the inexperienced offensive and defensive lines would perform.
