MI ED CHORUS PPP 666 Back row Ronald Stawicki, James Helm, Orval Thornton, Rodney O'Hare, Bobby Strevey, Eddig Temple, Terry Lyon, Gerald Jackson, Gary Drawbridge, Walter Wentz, Eugene Wentz, Herbert Shzrley, Gaylen Menges, Loyal T9U1P19, GUY Anthony, Mr Sawin Front row Kay Anderson, Linda Hix, Vonda Leichliter, Janice Pelkey, Judy Leichllter, Karolyn Wentz, Carole Jackson, Judy Rogers, Ruth Cozad, Linda Roe BAND Our band at the present is in the middle of a large building program At the beginning of this school year it was cuuposed of sixteen members At present it is composed of twenty foxn' members, thirteen of which are grade students This year our program appearances were confined to pep band activities at the haue footbaJJ. and basketball games We took part in the District Music Festival at Colby, where we received a III rating We played a home concert on HU 9 and played the processional and recessional for commence ment Mq 16 The year was concluded by the band taking part in the Memorial Day ceremonies on May 30 The members of the band have worked quite hard and the small groups have played at public affairs quite often when they had less than one day notice. Ihis type of loyalty and dependability should be rewarded in some ww. If this band keeps on improving as it has :Ln the past two years it will be one of the better bands of North West Kansas in the very near future.
