Left to right Gaylen Menges, Carole Jackson, Gary Drawbridge, Judy Leichliter, Gerald Jackson, Linda Him, Bruce Bishop, Loyal Temple CLASS HISTORY In the fall of HSLU ten little green freshmen entered the doors of Norcatur High School The honorable leaders were President Carole Jack son, Vice President Gerald Jackson, Secretary Treasurer berlin Berry, Reporter Loyal Temple We surv1ved the inltiatlon although the struggle was a trying one Our sponsor was Dale Kelley Still not knowing enough we came back the second year to try our luck again we lost Jackie Gallentine because she moved with her famlly to Denver Merlin Berry quit school The class offlcers were Presldent Carole Jackson, Vice President Linda Hix, Secretary Treasurer Jud1th L61Ch1it6P we sponsored the St Patrick's Day All School Dance Our Sponsor was O C Maxwell Our junior year, eight of us returned because we still wanted to learn more Our class officers were President Loyal Temple, Vice President Gerald Jackson, Secretary Treasu er Judith Leichl1ter We received our class rings, whlch dented most of the bank accounts An unforgettable event in Home Economics was when we scraped cake dough off the floor and baked The boys, of cou se, weren't exactly angels Adding one more to our class Norman Britlgan joined us in November we sponsored the Christmas Dance and the Senlor Supper Our sponsor was Mlss Brychta At last, nine dignified senlors entered the doors of N H S , think1ng they knew it all but later on a few surprlses came The class officers were: President--Judith Leichliterg Vice President--Linda Hixg Secretary-Treasurer--Carole Jackson. Our sponsor was Norman Sawin. Our class play was Sadie Gets Elected. On our Senior Trip we went to Chicago May 23 and came back May 29.

Cwhich, from our standpoint, would be most of them.g Bruce Bishop leaves his Romeo abilities to Herbert Shirley in case he decides to go back to Oberlin Norman Britigan leaves his carefree manner of asking people for pushes to anyone who has generator troubles Gary Drawbridge leaves his ability to make errors in typing speed tests to Dean Thornton in hopes that he can pass also Linda Hix leaves her flirting brown eyes to Judy Rogers in hopes that she will have as much luck as she has had Carole Jackson leaves her numerous boyfr1ends to the freshmen and sophomore girls 1n hopes that they can go with the boys they llke now Gerald Jackson leaves his ability to get stuck to anyone who w1ll be traveling much on the Leichliter road Judy Leichliter leaves her copy of HHow to Catch a Mann, to her sister, Vonda, in hopes that she can carry on the family tradltion Gaylen Menges leaves his abllity to date only good look1ng girls to Gary Anthony, and I'm su e he will have better luck Loyal Temple w1lls his ability to dance to anyone with rubber legs we hope that you accept these gifts in the same splrit they were presented Sealed and signed The '58 Seniors of N R H S WEWQSQQQEWQ CLASS PROPHECY In journeylng back to Norcatur High School, we find Bruce Bishop as Superintendent of Schools He 1S also coach and Engllsh teacher therg We took in.the northern part of the United States where we found Norman Britivan, who has finally saved enough to buy h1s own teepee and another 'bO Chevy to carry his sqaw and personal tribe We find Gary Drawbridge in Washlngton D C where he has succeeded Linda H1x 1S still waiting 1n Norcatur for John to pass h1s Phase Test in the Air Force We find Carole Jackson in Denver where she 15 secretary for five dif ferent firms She has hoped of landing at least one of the presldents be fore she gets too old Gerald and Judy are married and llving in Cllmax w1th the1r small famlly of 15 ch1ldren Gerald has gust been to see the show, Cheaper by the Dozenn for the fifth time Gaylen Nenges 13 st1ll work1ng for Sport Bowser to ralse enough money to buy tires for his Ford after which he w1ll leave for Oregon to seek h1s fortune! Loyal Temple has set up business as a dentlst in Beaver Clty when asked why, he remarked, WDue to a prevlous experlence, I Just declded to delve farther into the subject N J.
