“Left to right Gaylen Menges, Carole Jackson, Gary Drawbridge, Judy Leichliter, Gerald Jackson, Linda Him, Bruce Bishop, Loyal Temple CLASS HISTORY In the fall of HSLU ten little green freshmen entered the doors of Norcatur High School The honorable leaders were President Carole Jack son, Vice President Gerald Jackson, Secretary Treasurer berlin Berry, Reporter Loyal Temple We surv1ved the inltiatlon although the struggle was a trying one Our sponsor was Dale Kelley Still not knowing enough we came back the second year to try our luck again we lost Jackie Gallentine because she moved with her famlly to Denver Merlin Berry quit school The class offlcers were Presldent Carole Jackson, Vice President Linda Hix, Secretary Treasurer Jud1th L61Ch1it6P we sponsored the St Patrick's Day All School Dance Our Sponsor was O C Maxwell Our junior year, eight of us returned because we still wanted to learn more Our class officers were President Loyal Temple, Vice President Gerald Jackson, Secretary Treasu er Judith Leichl1ter We received our class rings, whlch dented most of the bank accounts An unforgettable event in Home Economics was when we scraped cake dough off the floor and baked The boys, of cou se, weren't exactly angels Adding one more to our class Norman Britlgan joined us in November we sponsored the Christmas Dance and the Senlor Supper Our sponsor was Mlss Brychta At last, nine dignified senlors entered the doors of N H S , think1ng they knew it all but later on a few surprlses came The class officers were: President--Judith Leichliterg Vice President--Linda Hixg Secretary-Treasurer--Carole Jackson. Our sponsor was Norman Sawin. Our class play was Sadie Gets Elected. On our Senior Trip we went to Chicago May 23 and came back May 29.
