OVERBO Principal This was Mr. Overbo's first year as principal. He is paper staff advisor, student council advisor, teaches phy. ed. and coaches basketball. MRS. SIDELINE ACTION The Noonan Miners of 1970 became the Western Dakota Conference Champs while running up a record of 6-0. The Miners gained 1,898 yards over the season, and they outscored their opponents 266-32. The leader in yardage gained was Dean Baker who rushed for 631 yards in 69 carries and caught 13 passes for 336 yards. Bruce Fagerbakke was second in yardage gained with 388 yards in 53 carries and caught 14 passes for 190 yards. Stan Fagerland quarterbacked the team and completed 36 of 91 passes for 650 yards. Bruce Bakken and Dave Froehlich led the defense with 109 and 197 defen- sive points respectively. The Lions Club and Legion Club sponsored a banquet br the team at the end of the season for which the Willing Workers Homemakers Club served.
