The 195 5 student body of N. H. S. would like to take this opportunity to thank the school board, faculty, parents, and all the people of this communuty for providing a new school in which to further our education. We would like to express our deep appreciation to the board of education who spent so much time during the past year, in an effort to see that we received the very best school in North West North Dakota. As we close the doors on the old and open those of the new, there will be a feeling of excitement, exultation and accomplishments. On the other hand there undoubtedly will be a sentimental reflection of found and happy memories sealed off in dreams of the past as the old school is removed. As we move forward may we think of the lines from Oliver Wendell Holmes: Build thee more stately mansions, O my soul, As the swift seasons roll! Leave thy low-vaulted past! Let each new temple, nobler than the last, Shut thee from heaven with a dome more vast. Till thou at length are free. Leaving thine outgrown shell by life's unresting sea!
