 JAMES KIMBALL Valedictorian A rare compound of quality, noble, and true, with plenty of sense and humor, too. Jim culminated his high school career by prov- ing himself an outstanding student. He was editor of the school paper. He played a saxaphone in the school band, sang in the choir, took park in dramatics, and he was the regular center on the basket ball team as a senior. He graduated as top student in his class with a 4. 022 average. DARLA GAY WITTY Salutatorian As wise and beautiful as thou art Witty. Darla Gay participated in fifteen extra cur- ricular activities during her high school career. Probably her most outstanding accomplish- ments were in the field of music. Darla sang in the choir, was a member of the girls trio, and also did solo work. She also was a band member for four years. Darla was class president during her senior year. She cul- minated her high school career with a 4.011 average, thus entitling her to be class sal- utatorian. 9

SENIOR CLASS PROPHECY Shooting along in out jet-propelled Packard, «. find the 1955 Senior, all enjoying life. As we stop at the various countries, we see: Happily married to her 2nd Lt. , Rachel was unloading her furniture after the tourt move in two months. . , Going on our way, we came to a large construction plant where Glen was directing the building of Leslie's huge hotel business. Leslie, you know, struck it rich and has hotels from one end of the country to the other. . „ „ , That evening we donned our gowns and tails and went to Carnegie Hall for Deanna s finding of the lost chord. , Next stop was the Ringling Bros. Circus where Larry Roness was greasing the merry- eo-round. He’s a mechanic, you know. Continuing on our journey we were surprised by what we thought was a ying saucer. Three miles up the road we found it was Mickey practicing his discus throw. Just trim- ming up for the Olympics. Jim as Valedictorian, started out to be an engineer but with his intelligence and h able ways, the citizens insisted on him accepting the nomination for President of the United States, aid of course, he came through with flying colors. He now has Darla Gay, with all her business training, as his secretary. SENIOR CLASS WILL We, the Seniors of nineteen hundred and fifty five, being of improved (?) and weary mind! as a result of four years of arduous search for the golden nuggets of wisdom, now in spirit of magnonimity do hereby bestow upon those who are left to mourn our loss, the following bequest: To the Juniors we will our dignity and our ability to be boss. To the Sophomores we will our knowledge and our ability to be bossed. To the Freshmen we will our ability to take orders. To the Teachers we will our carved desks and all the gum under them plus plenty of patience. I, Deanna Johnson, will my extreme love of Chemistry to next year's class and my drivers license to the Junior girls. I, Leslie Anseth, will my ability to tell stories to Mr. Weroes. I, Rachel Dhuyvetter, will my ability to get by with out studying to Norma Evenson and my quiet ways to Barbara Focke. I, James Kimball, will my ability to argue to Mr. Anderson. I, Darla Gay Witty, will my school skipping ability to Wayne Fenster and my History book to the Furnace. I, Larry Roness, will my much used hopes of graduation to Glen Gustafson. I, Glen Spooner, will my parking spot to Noel Roness so he doesn't back ofl the road. I, Mickey Cameron, will my mature looks to Larry Fenster. 8
