Prophecy Well, here we are on June 15.1998, and the Class of 1988 is together again for the Tenth Year Reunion. Class advisors Mrs. Lavery and Ms. Rickart are directing the whole thing. At first, they could not de- cide where to have this gala event because they had a few choices-, either Mike Denniger’s $50 million estate, or Karl Gegenbach’s beautiful island on the equator. But. for sentimental reasons, they decided to have it at Nonnewaug High School. Some of our classmates didn’t have to travel very far to attend. Two of them. Eileen Burns and Lori Charett who both arrived with their husbands, are teaching at Nonnewaug. Others married and still living in Woodbury are Linda Bishop. Sloane Byrne. Angela Clyde and Jody Cooper. Seth Churchill and Tim Higley are carpenters here still. Bobby Pinard is in the house renovation business and lives in his house way out in the woods of this fine town. To our surprise, we found out that Meredith Selby. Amy Madans. and Kelly White decided to go into a convent right here in town. Everyone was shocked and never expected a change like that! Meredith keeps the convent clean while Amy lectures on procrastination. Kelly is the Mother Superior for the order. For entertainment. Andy O'Hazo and his band played their newest songs for the class. Kurt Berglund played his album of jazz. Matt Frisk, back from Sweden, played some of his now famous keyboard al- bums. While all this music was going on, Steve Dodge and Jim Dauten waited in their limo with their drinks and eight girlfriends each! We walked around to see all the faces we could recognize. Then we sat by the window to talk to Tim Corsi and his wife about their business. We saw Devin Callaway drive up in his 1997 Ferrari. He now lives in Beverly Hills where he spends his time soaking up some serious rays. Next to arrive were Chris Jones, Marge Smith, and Scott Thomas. They showed up in their Bermuda shorts, and had to leave their average suburban lives and shut off their Weber grills so they could be here. We heard Scott Ferris was arrested with a few of his mercenary friends in South America, so he could not attend. In attendance though was Dave Jenks, now a lawyer with a million dollar house and a new BMW. who was going to defend Scott. Good Luck! To our surprise, we noticed Negar Mahooti weighing in at nearly X)0 pounds, having put the Cadbury Chocolate Company out of business. When other guests arrived, we found out that many had come down from the north. Pat Callahan came from Massachusetts in his Lamborghini Countach to tell us about his engineering career. He is working on an engine that consumes no energy. Tami Ferris and Ralph Kerr are married with six children and living in Maine. Lisa Garms, also down from Maine, is working as a Veterinary Assistant. Valerie Hirschman came down from Vermont where she is living with her husband and two children in their dream log cabin. Cheryl Delacey and her hus- band Aaron and two children came from Massachusetts, as did Sandy Blakeman with her husband and three children. We learned that John Ruggerio is somewhere in the Maine woods. Enough from the North. From the South, we had Bob Wolff and Nancy Stockman arrive. They are now married and teaching their kids to rodeo. Nick Grzywacz is also in the South, Tennessee, to be exact. Andy Chapman, a real Dixie resident is also an engineer, but no one knows of what. The classmates who arrived by ship were Mike DeCourtin from Switzerland, and John DiLorenzo from Alaska. Speaking of ships, Angela Ciriello was showing everyone pictures of the wonderful places she has visited in her job as cruise director for a major cruise line. From the Hawaiian Islands we had marine biologists Kirsten Wuestefeld and Thea Randis. Thea is working for the government and is still a Yankee fan. Heather Evans came up from the Caribbean with her famous aviator husband and three children. Chris Evans showed up with his Mets uniform and said, My hot tub and two children are beautiful. Tom Edmonds then told us that he now owned his own landscaping
