CHIEFS 1 As our high school years draw quickly to a close, we pause to give brief recognition to a most important, deserving individual. Although new to Nonnewaug in 1975, she took on the job as our Sophomore class advi- sor. In the three years she has held this posi- tion she has helped us develop as a class as well as individuals. She has watched us laugh and cry, grow and falter, succeed and fail. Yet, she stood by us through the trials and tribulations we have encountered. This wonderful, caring person is our long- time friend, teacher, and advisor: Mrs. Joan Dandurand. The Class of '78 thanks Mrs. Dandurand for her help, advice, and patience. We wish her the best of luck in her future at Nonnewaug High, and hope she will be proud of us as she hears of our achievements later in life.
