Is There Life After N.H.S.? Whereas in times past, men and not a few women found it likely to write down their premonitions of things out of time, out of sight, and in the future, to wit, the enduring prophecies of the man, Nostradamusg the man, Orwell, the woman, Lygeiag the man, Cayceg the woman, Dixon, And whereas these prophets have given cause for both sorrow and rejoicing, but little insight into the various characters who will indeed make up the future, And whereas the characters who will people the future have earned each of them the notoriety associated with their habitation in and about the environs of the high school known as Nolan, Now therefore be it acknowledged that a new band of prophets has made its way into the pages of history via the time-book known as Lepantog and that therein they have made the following prophecies regarding the characters who have crossed their paths as they wended their weird way outward from the school called Nolan. To wit, the future will find itself peopled with the likes of: Ernette Alford will be giving blue-light specials at K-Mart, where David Peet will be working as head janitor. John Anderson will be a computer scientist. Steve Ansley hopes to become an architect. Leslie Austin and Michelle Ellis will become models for Vogue. John Barrera will open a banana fruitstand at the local supermarkets, Debby Belisch hopes to be the manager of Winn-Dixie, with Bradlea Bovenkerk as head cashier. Dan Tye, on the other hand, hopes to own his own Skaggs Alpha Beta someday, with Barbara Price working as assistant manager. Also working at Skaggs will be Tom Norton as the highest paid bagboy, and Dan Dailey, who hopes to work as head butcher at the deli. A number of the Seniors of '84 want to go into sports. Tony Blaas will be a ball chaser for the famous tennis - pro Kaatia Demaere. Patricia Burse and Kristin Horrigan will be the first women pro-basketball players for the Boston Celtics. Denise Delgado and Yolanda Belmares will be the captain and co-captain for the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders. Denice Galier and Gordon Guild are going to become surfing bums and move to Florida. Rhonda Guevara will become a world champion ice-skater. Tony Hernandez is hoping he'll be good enough to caddy for Lee Trevino. Lastly, Anne Heinke hopes to become a sports medicine trainer for the gymnasium that Vince Higgins will own. Many of our fellow classmates hope to follow a religious vocation. Nick Bettinger and Duc Nguyen hope to become the two head priests of St. Andrew's Catholic Church. Sean Fitzgerald wants to be president of the National Altar Boy Society. Paul Combs hopes to be Mother Superior of the convent, and prays that he'll be working closely with David Underwood-the first American Pope. Marriage is figured prominently in the lives of our 1984 graduates. Liz Foley hopes to be married to John Taylor of Duran Duran. Linda Franko hopes to marry Steve Perry of Journey, with Bryan Adams as Best Man. Tim Cooper and Shannon McGoey plan on getting married and living on a houseboat on the Atlantic Ocean-or is it the Pacific? But anyway . . . David Wise and Chris Hromcik hoped to be married someday, maybe not to each other, but married all the same. Robby Snelus will be marrying the 1984 Nolan High School Drill Team. Lastly, Marc Rose and Angela Torres both have marriage on their mindsfbut first they need to find some datesy. Some of the 1984 Seniors want to enter the exciting field of medicine. Cornelia Martinez hopes to be a doctor. Her staff of nurses will
