. HOMECOMING '83 When Spirit Week drew to an end, Nolanites were ready for the grand finale- the annual Homecoming dance. Passing by the crowded tables you could hear: Can you believe she came with him'?! I just love your dress! Did you see that mum? Who is this Andy Barber guy? New couples, old couples, and odd couples all danced to the 92V2 Sound and Light Show. Even some NHS alumni returned to enjoy the dance. But who could compare to all those album winners? Disco Dan, that's who. fm 1 ' l F' ,wfgwa flavlitltftv 'f lp W- - I ., A we ,,,t ' F ...N 0 A .wi wi anna, wi 1 ----- -... , ff- Oh no, l just sat in some lemonade! I n' 5 1983 HDMECOMING COURT Viking fans gathered at Country Day on Saturday the 15th to cheer the football team on to victory against Greenhill. In the midst of band music, a drill team performance, and, of course, blue and white balloons, Rose Colvin was crowned the 1983 Homecoming Queen. Her court included Denise Delgado, Karen Doskocil, Melinda Rodriguez, and Leslie Shaw. Congratulations, girls! After the presentation, Vikes went on to challenge the Hornets, but were defeated. Nevertheless, it takes more than a loss to dampen Nolan spirit!!
