V ,f Wx of f EN 'om- The thrills were many, the wins were few, Honeoye broke a sixty game losing streak at our expense, but still it has been an enjoyable season and we have had a good team spirit. All attempts to fill the shoes of last year's seasoned veterans, lost by graduation, have been to no avail. Inexperience and failure to hit the bucket in the clutch have played havoc with the records as Gorham won but4 of 17 ames. After the Honeoye loss, the boys came back strong to battle Red Jacket down to tge wire and win over Inter- laken and Middlesex Valley. Loss of Seniors Capt. Phil Hyatt, Asst. Capt Rod Frarey and Pete Hall will be felt, but there will be plenty of experience left to rebuild for next season. For when, at last, the roll is called 'up yonder' and they come to check against your name, it matters not if you won or lost, but HOW YOU PLAYED THE GAM I

Although they boast an unimpressive record of 3 wins and 14 defeats, outscored by their opponents 759 to 501, the situation is far from dismal. This has been a rebuilding season . . . several sophomores who might usually have been cgiven another year of experience were move up to the varsity to replace heavy grad- uation losses. We have played against sea- soned I. V. teams and have folded in the pinch where experience might have pulled us through. Several of the freshman, starting slowly, have made rapid strides, and prospects for next season are much brighter.
