Ambrose’ You mean a real western hero here The Crew The rootin'est, tootin'est funniest satire on the old West to ever gallop across a stage begins when Ambrose Groves and Bert Miller ride into the small ghost town, Dead Man's Gulch. Then things really start poppin' when they pose as the two most wanted outlaws in all Californy. Ambrose gets everything in a terrible state, but he finally ends up as the hero of the story. The ushers added a western touch by dressing as cowgirls. The Prompter Oh no Ann, not a time like this' Junior-Senior Christmas Party On December 14, 1961, the Seniors welcomed the Juniors to the Junior-Senior Christmas Party in the old gym, which was decorated with a Christmas scene. An enjoyable evening was had by all! Co-Rec Night Snapshots Valentine Dance The Student Council sponsored the annual Valentine Dance on February 8, 1962. Music was furnished by Moe Clotfelter's band. The climax of the evening was the crowning of Brenda Donaldson as Queen and Roger DeWerff as King. Cinderella Ball JUNIOR-SENIOR PROM The Juniors, Seniors, faculty, and Board of Education danced to the music of Ronnie and the Thunderbirds at the prom on May 4, 1962. The gym was decorated in purple and gold as the inside of a castle. The main attractions were a stage coach and a slipper. Cake and punch served throughout the dance added a final touch to a wonderful evening. Day Class This year's class day was held on May 23, 1962. Following skits, instrumental numbers, and the reading of the Senior Will and Class Prophecy, the Class of '62 buried their Senior box on the Campus. The Annual Class Day dance was held that evening at 8:00 in the old gymnasium.
