FROM SEPTEMBER 1955 TO MAY 1959 Now we stand before you, the Senior Class, Whose school days have passed so fast. Now that the end is near and we are older, A lot of work we will have to shoulder. Thus our class through four short years. Stuck together through jokes and fears. We Seniors, also have to admit. The history of our class would make quite a script. Our class has shared many joys and tears. These will bind us together for many years. We loved our school with all our hearts. And many things to better it we did our parts. Together we entered as Freshmen new, The longer we stayed, the more we knew. We helped cheer our teams. For our boys were really on the beam! We went through initiation together, And lived to return it somewhat better. And on our graduation night, We were filled with joy and a little fright. Our Sophomore year in many ways. Was made up of enjoyable days. We walked down the aisle, side by side. As we glowed with an inward pride. We won the Class Day skit. No one but us could have made it a hit. For Nokomis High, the best by far. We, Seniors, have a lot to be thankful for. Our Junior year was full of events. We received our rings and displayed our talents. Memories will always linger in our minds. We will relive our school days and the many good times. We gave a Prom, the very best we could, We worked very hard and made it good. We took a last trip together on the 27th of May, And those happenings will last for many a day. We gave two plays, went to parties, had fun. More than any other class could have done. So close your eyes and remember this class of '59 For we are surely mighty fine. The high lights of our last year, Will always be remembered with cheer.
