Hut soon they taste of the forbidden fruit -knowledge! ()h the wonders of knowledge! Tis easier to ride a Latin pony- though often thrown off. than to decrease the food supply by giving apples to teacher. They tilt their eyes at an angle indicative of their increased wisdom. Therefore: it is for the Sophs to hang their colors high, to rush in where angels fear to tread, to endure good-naturedly the rough treatment administered by irate educators, accept the admiration of their underclassmen—the contempt of the upper. Here's to the pride of our school, the nation’s hope, the Sophs!
