For the first time in local school history, the band was chosen as one of only three out of thirty competing bands for a place in first division in the region, which extends beyond Fort Worth and which embraces many schools larger than Nocona's. This, in itself, is a great honor for the school system. -- The Nocona News The yearbook staff hopes that the 1956 CHIEF will reflect the pride of the l X school in our glamous lndian Band. 0 if J ' V944-'54 0'1A47vC7f.e4, Comfff rgggfyw for MMM '11 Z jg Z9 ,T 2 a:.f4w,07f4 fl' :Z 0.54 Lfcc.
