J' 1 j , 4 , T14 ,1 . 0 'i r' f 1 l' . 4 ,vi -I xv: J One week of diligent, hard work ended as 12 floats, 5 queen candidates, and 2 bands lined up at the school, Friday afternoon, to begin the 1960 Homecoming parade. School principals reviewed the floats as they proceeded around the square and hack to Memorial Field. Floats were sep- arated into two categories, classes and organ izations. Awards were presented in each div- ision. That night at half-time, Sam Schernekau crowned the queen and the winning floats were announced. With the score reading Howe 17, Nob1esvi11el5, our 1960 Homecoming came to a close. 28 . 1
