ACTIVITIES School life might become dull if it were not for the extra-curricular activi- ties that are planned and carried out as cz part of the school program. The home room activities have be- come an institution and give everyone ct chance to prepare and participate in the weekly programs. The teachers act as advisers but the students are respon- sible for the programs. The Everybody's Lonesome Club is an organization in which every girl por- ticipates. The Boys' Booster Club is a closed organization and members be- come leaders for all boys' activities. The Parent-Teacher organization has enlivened our school lite by giving all school parties. These parties are very inexpensive to the students and give everyone an opportunity to participate in the fun. Clubs, such as the Commercial Club, Latin Club, Art Club, Girls' Athletic As- sociation, N Club, Home Economics Club, and Future Farmers of America, supplement classroom studies and give the students an added chance to de- velop their talents. A student may take part in many ac- tivities and broaden himself in several different lines. This gives him a chance to select the type of work in which he is most interested. For the upper-classmen the planning of class plays, receptions, and publi- cations becomes a vital part of the training of those who participate. The feeling of accomplishment comes to those who take part and cooperate in the interest of their school. Many will learn the art of leadership in school activities While others will learn the hard job of being good followers. Bd. of Control Student Council Booster Club Drum Major E. L. C.
