SENIORS Nile are now looking back on a most pleasant experience. Several smiles, several tears, a few hearty laughs have added spice to our high school career. Rather reluctantly we turn over our job as seniors to the Class of 1941. Not so many years ago we trouped into N. H. S., a group of green freshmen ready to take over the school. But a few blunders, such as finding ourselves sitting in a senior government class when we were supposed to be solving the mysteries of x in the freshman al- gebra class, soon put us in our places, ln our sophomore year it still seemed as if we were just a big group with nothing in particular to do but attend to our school work. Our junior year found us budding in- to important people, for we were al- lowed to organize. We began to fill the class treasury and to plan for big events. We looked toward our senior year with great anticipation. Now, we have reached and complet- ed our duties as seniors. Our last year has been a pleasant and active one. We have taken on responsibilities a little bit heavier than ever before in our school life, and we have profited by our experiences. Only a few months ago we were more than ready for our high school days to be over: but now that the time has come for us to turn in our senior uniforms, we feel a little sadness in our hearts. We leave our post as seniors hoping that those who follow us will have as happy and active times as we have had during our senior year at N. H. S.
