NUBELlTE Majorettes, L. to 'R.-Wanda Lee Harrell, Nancy Hamilton, Natalie Hornback, Juanita Anderson, LUNCHRO OM G0 A new addition to our school this year, which has proved very successful, is our school lunchroom. It has been a great improvement and the majority of the students have participated in the lunch program. Standing, L. to R.-Mrs. Stevenson, Mrs. Clark, Mrs. Waddle. NEW BUILDING 'Ol On the opposite page is a picture of the new building which has greatly expanded the size of our high school and has given the students more and greater educational advantages. It has made possible an excellent shop workroom, classroom, agriculture work- shop and agriculture classroom. Al o in this building is a light- proof proiection room that has greatly increased the use of educa- tional films. The offices of coach Maurice Taylor and Miss Mary Alice Owen, girls' physical education director, are also located there. Noble High School is proud of the new building.

JUNIOR-SENIOR CARNIVAL OF 1949 00' This year the second annual Junior-Senior Carnival was held on the night of March 12. The carnival theme was a St. Patrick's Day background. This carnival proved to be a success. The outstanding events of the evening were: queen coro- nation, boxing, amateur show, the Shamrock Inn, and many others. CARNIVAL PICTURES -0- Our Shamrock Queen of 1949 One of the Shamrock Queen's attendants, Betty Patterson Marian Callahan, and her escort, Jerry Black. Dancing in the gym after the Our commerce teacher, Miss Provines, Coronation Ceremonies. and Jim Williamson. JUNIOR-SENIOR BANQUET OF 1948 '0' The juniors of 1948 followed a Hawaiian theme for the Junior-Senior Banquet, which was held May 20, 1948. The wall at the north end of the gym was decorated with a Hawaiian sunset. The south end had a beautiful Hawaiian moon rising over a Hawaiian bay. Hawaiian lanterns were hung to make an attractive scene above the heads of the guests. A Hawaiian dance was presented by four of the waitresses.
