NOBLPJS HISTORY THE Uss NoBLE QAPA-2185 was built by Pa- manente Metals Corporation, Richmond, California, as United States Maritime Commission Hull No. 566. CAPTAIN'S MESSAGE To me, a stranger in the Amphibious Force, our past cruise to WesPac was most enjoyable. Operating under difficult rules, revisiting old ports of call, made the time pass rapidly. We left the West Coast with a line ship and returned with it in the same condition. The credit for that goes to the NOBLE's fine crew. To all hands I say, Well Done.
