The snow came . . . but not for Christmas! fP.T.A. Carnival, The members of the P. T. A. held the usual carnival the last week in October. A cos- tume parade for the young fry was very color- ful and prizes were awarded the winners. A Mexican plate was served to a large num- ber of persons. Later in the evening there were other forms of entertainment for both yotmg and old. Winners: Johnnie F. McCann, thirdg Peggy Montgomery, second and Lori Couch, first prize. lt was hard to choose a dessert from such a bounteous table of sweets! U1 All kinds of costumes, fancy, plain and comical were seen as dozens of youngsters paraded in the long march down main street.
