THE WIND DID BLOW.. Against a sand ladenhigh wind the three clasie sinjunior high school bravely mounted their respective floats and awaited the judges decision. The sixth grade won the blue ribbon depicting Moses and the Ten Command- ments. Second place went to the eighth grade with a float showing an Easter Parade. Third ribbon was given the s e v e nth grade who honored Hawaii as the 50th state . Easter Parade outlined in pink against a blue background depicts 5th Avenue, photographers and Easter outfits . S. Gaylord as Moses gholding the tablets of stone on a float of green and silver . ,Q ,, if , N3 .Www - - , wf'N'i if '- East Meets West lettered in red on a white background shows a friendly welcome to our fifthieth state. B band members report for practice. A very popular place! These scenes are pictures taken during one of the Friday night junior school 'play nights' which were sponsored by Ivirs. Holmes and Mrs. Boone.

Picturing Alaska as the 49th state wa enjoyed by Mrs. Dezelle's second grade . Znd place Winner! The third grades form marching units of clowns, majorettes with plenty of balloons and banners. Butterflies make Mrs. Box's second grade float very pretty.
