Pictured are Student Council mem- bers and sponsor, Mrs. Weinert at one of its bi-weekly meetings. Harold M. and Mike M. are inter- ested in the campaign posters . A new organization in our school this year, We feel that the Student Council has helped solve many problems and will in the future become a bonding link in faculty-stu- dent co-operation. Representatives from each of the four classes meet and discuss situations as they arise and to- gether decide upon the best solution. Student Council members are left to right: J. Manford, H. The newly organized National Honor Society is one of the greatest honors that N.H.S. has to offer its students. Proud owners of the National Honor Society ensignia pin are Qstandingl, Tommy Weber, Carolyn Lozo, Velma Crisp, Harold Mahan, Terry Talley, Faith Neuse, Abel Gaytan, Virginia Glasco, Joyce Moore, Sammy Martin, Wilbon Davis, and Patricia Kennedy.Seatecl are: Karen Billings, Coylene Mahan, Mary Riojas, Yolanda Gaytan, Flora Arce, Marilyn Sanders and Colleen Sewell. Yolanda receives Xa, her N.H.S. pin. The officers and Executive Council, fleft to rightlz W. Davis, H. Ma- han,T. Weber, C. Mahan, look over the constitution.
