NIXON TRIPS STOCKDALE Led by Nick Bustamente, who scored two touch- downs and converted one, the Nixon Bobcats smacked the Stockdale Brahmas in a District 35-B .game October 17. The game was a very ex- citing one with cheers, banners, and music filling the brisk fall night. NIXON CLAWS FALLS CITY Nixon's Bobcats clawed their way toavic- tory of 12-7 over the Falls City Beavers here on November 7 . Quarterback Tony Be- navides sparked the Bobcats to their first score, and End Verne Colwell tookahand- off for the second score of the game. BOBCATS ROLL OVER PAWNE Sparke d by a three touchdowns rally in the final quarter, the Bobcats rolled over the Pawnee Indians 35-O here on October 17, in aDistrict 35-B game. Itwas Nixon's first conference win.

The Seniors were the honored ones that night, as they played most of the game. The cheers and yells were louder than any game the whole season. There were a lot of supporters present cheering the team to victory over Lavernia.

BOBCATS ROB PIRATES On October 24, the Nixon Bobcats defeated the Nordheim Pirates 26-0 in a District 35-B game. Scoring touchdowns for the Bobcats were Terry Talley, Nick Busta- mente, Tony Benavidez, and Verne Col- well. YORKTOWN BLANKS NIXON The Yorktown Wildcats shut out the home team Nixon Bobcats 27-0 on September 12. Nixon suffered its first home defeat at the hands of a district A entry. Don't those managers look busy! Robert Maldonado, lno s e n ci o Arce, and Owen Wicke are resting while theywaitfor time Out. This is a familiar scene. Coach Pattillo is waiting for the kick-off, as he nervously paces the side lines. NIXON BEATS LAVERNIA Tony Benavidez,and Terry Davis led the Nixon Bobcats to a 46-6win over Lavernia Bears in a District 35-B contest on Nov- ember 14. VICTORY This Bobcat is in enemy territory now. The Stockdale Brahmas are moving in, but not in time. We have just scored another touchdown ending in a Z0-O win.
