Phyllis Reynolds Miss Wildcat Nancy Magoun Senior Attendant MISS WILDCAT AND ATTENDANTS The final moment came, the name was announced, a cheer came forth from the crowd; Jim Raynes placed the crown, as Phyllis Reynolds, Miss Wildcat 1966 , wiped tears from her eyes and showed the crowd a truly winning and royal smile. Miss Wildcat's” honor was the climax of many awards presented during Homecoming. The anti-climax came during assembly, Friday, November 5, when the Junior Class was presented with the First Place trophy for the Hall Decorations. The presentation brought much joy for the Juniors as it represented an award for hours of hard work and planning. The Juniors' happiness was not short lived. After the hours of planning and hard work put into their hall, Eve of Destruction-Dawn of Correction , it came as quite a surprise to every- one when the Junior Class float won first place in the class division. The F.B.L.A. float was recognized as a truly remarkable float when named first place in the club division. Ruth Russell Sarah Schowen THE SNOW QUEEN AND HER COURT Throughout the school year queens are elected to reign over their loyal subjects. Each season brings a new queen. The winter season is no exception. The Winter Formal was high- lighted with the crowning of Susan McClanahan, a petite and radiant Senior with a vivacious personality, as Miss Snow Queen of 1965. Attendants to Miss Snow Queen were: Ruth Russell escorted by Danny Allen; Sarah Schowen escorted by Bob Hutsenpiller; Linda Clendenin escorted by Ralph Lucas; Suzanne Maddox es- corted by Larry Hill; and Karen Gates escorted by Mike Hindle. Miss Snow Queen was escorted by Lee Selbe. Jim Raynes, Student Council President, crowned Susan as Queen and made the presentations. Linda Clendenin Suzanne Maddox Karen Gates
