Santrock, Jr., Principal Nitro High School Nitro, West Virginia Dear Mr. Santrock: To you the 1960 graduating class dedicates its annual, The Wildcat. We salute you, the first Nitro born, Nitro educated principal of the high school from which you, too were graduated. You have brought honor and recognition to the school as student, athlete, teacher, principal, and citizen. Augmenting and perhaps eclipsing those distinctions are your contributions to us as individuals at a time when world shaking events have tended to create chaos and uncertainty in the minds and hearts of youth. By counsel, friendship, and example you have lighted our way from trouble to triumph; from panic to peace; from confusion to conviction. Whatever our future success, it will have been touched and inspired by the professional skill, the warmth of personality, the steadying hand which you unfailingly extend to us, often without our having to seek it.
