CLASS PROPHECY GARY BRISCOE has become a noted author on tales for little children. His most re- cent book is, The Big Bad Boggie Man. JANICE RANDOLPH WAGNER and hubby ALBERT, have a whole nest of little Pos- sums . They delight in watching the educational Howdy Doody Show. The part of Howdy is played by our own PAUL DUDY Me CLANAHAN and Chief Thunderthud by MIKE BARTLETT who is credited with having a feather in his cap. Speaking of the T.V. world, ANNA JACKSON has run Aunt Dru completely out with her characterization of Aunt Moo. CLARENCE KING also stars as Flat Foot. As we thumb through the pages of Style - O- Magazine , we see that our own VADA SPEARS and PEGGY WILSON have designed a new hat with two holes near the top. A daisy (with a slight droop) falls slightly over the brim. P.S. This creation is especially for horses. FRED KING and JOE LAMBIOTTE have gone into business for themselves. They bought a monkey and a tin cup. They were doing just fine until Mr. Burke poked him in his collection. Please be kind to animals! Some may be members of our class. Although RAYMOND COBB isn't a forester, he looks my-t-fine as Smokey the bear. LORETTA CARR was heard sounding off her spectacular wild goose holler across the valley to her mate ROBERT HARPER who answers with a crow's caw. KENNETH CLINE slowly but' surely is taking Harry James 1 place. He is an official bugler in a Boy Scout Camp. JOHN FORE has taken his rightful spot in the movies (on the sound track, that is). He is the coyote howler in Roy Roger's pictures. JAMES SAM ISSAC and EVERETT OH YOU KILL ME ISSAC took a slow boat to China. It sunk. DONALD PITZER is in the real estate business now. He just sold JAMES LAKE and LEMMIE PARSONS the Brooklyn Bridge. DAVID HUNTER and KENNETH KAPP had a small plane crash in the wilds of Africa. The last we heardfrom them was Ape call doodly-ah-dah, meanwhile back in the States! BARBARA CLENDENIN'S slogan is rise and shine. Every morning at 5 a.m. sharp, she watches the sun and makes sure it comes up. Conrad Paff has received a letter from one of his former band students. CATHERINE BONNER ha 8 continued her musical career. She is now charming snakes out of baskets in India with her slide trombone. Farmer ARTHUR (McDONALD) JEFFERS has a chicken farm in Iowa. One of the hens got loose, so now he is gathering eggs in Japan. Cackle ! Cackle ! Ain't nobody here but us chickens. We haven't heard from JERRY LEE for a long time, but it is rumored that he is a sheepherder for a flock of goats. DANNY ARCHER has returned to the old Alma Mater. Yes siree ! With his mop and pail. Clean'er up Dan! If what we've h£ard is true, congratulations J OE BILL ROBERTS, shoveler-in-chief at all Donkey Basketball games. Keep your nose up Joe! Every year the city council of Nitro kinda forgets to take down the Christmas street lights. SHERMAN McGREW has been appointed to shoot them down with a B-B gun. Whoop's slip of the trigger; he shot the Mayor. JANE TEMPLE, MARY TAYLOR, and CHARLOTTE LANHAM are now backwoods teachers with their hair tucked neatly behind their ears and horn-rimmed glasses. They attempt to teach the students, Where is it instead of Where is it at. JUANITA SISSIE TUCKER vowed she would never cut her hair again. That was back in '57'. The government sent out a call in I960 for hair just the color and length of Sissies'. Yes, Sissie did a great thing for her country, but she still wears a wig. BARBARA HENSLEY joined the Irish Red Cross but when she found out the red clashed with her hair she joined the White Cross as a greenhorn. LINDA McDERMITT married a garbage collector, often called RONNIE KIRK. She keeps house for him in the basement of a cotton warehouse in Georgia. As the old saying goes, There's a rotten apple in every barrel. To correct this sit- uation, THELMAKELLY, SHIRLEY KILGORE, and ROBERT LOVEJOY have become worm peepers in an apple factory. VIOLA COOK is now exploring pyramids in Egypt. Her latest discovery was HAROLD FORLOINE in a mummy's tomb. BILL SOWARDS, ROSALIE FRAZIER, and PATSY KOCH have a novelty shop along the road of life. Their main feature is shrinking heads. Business is prosperous. DAREL MICHAEL, air raid warden wrote one of the year's best sellers. He wrote. If a Bomb Hits Near You, Don't Go All To Pieces. BOBBY MATTOX is trying to support his family of 12. He shakes a tamborine for the Salvation Army. ELLIS FINCH and CLARENCE BOWMAN finally gave up on their looks and joined a beaver colony. Their present project is damming up the backwater. 1 2 (continued on Page 49)
