LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT Ninth Avenue High School Hendersonville, North Carolina We, the graduating class of i960, exhibiting both sound mind and body and fully aware of the task before us, do make the following bequeaths and de¬ clare this our last will and testament to be carried out upon our graduation. ARTICLE I To our parents, we leave our fondest appreciation for the many sacrifices they have made that we might attain this goal. We shall aspire to fulfill their fondest dreams. ARTICLE II To the superintendant and the board of education, we leave our apprecia¬ tion for the system of education which we realize will be of great help to us for the rest of our lives. ARTICLE III To our principal, Mr. C. H. Jones, we leave our undying gratitude for the marvelous service he has rendered both the school and community since his arrival here. We wish him many happy and successful years at Ninth Avenue. ARTICLE IV To the faculty, we leave peace of mind and our sincere thanks for your tireless efforts in trying to mold our futures. ARTICLE V To the striving Juniors, we leave the right to accept the title of Seniors upon our graduation and to exercise all priviledges thereof with dignity. ARTICLE VI To the Sophomores, we leave our fondest hopes that they may use wisely their last two years. We admonish them to make friends carefully, use their time wisely, and study diligently. ARTICLE VII To the Freshmen, we leave our determination to strive for good scholar¬ ship, in an effort to eventually become graduates of Ninth Avenue High School.
