SUPERINTENDENT'S MESSAGE To The Student Body of The Ninnekah Highschool Education is the only foundation for a strong democracy lnerica has prospered and become a world power because of her system of free education Today every boy and girl has the opportunity for a college education at a minimum cost Books, board and room are responsible for most of this cost Too many of our students, today, are neglecting this opportunity The few dollars they can earn at present are hiding their future from them Our nation'a future depends greatly upon the educational level of our population The higher our educational level, the higher our socio economic level will be, for it has been proven in many dif ferent studies that the earning power increases as the educational level raises Greater earning power, means ability to have more and better things which if properly used, makes life happier Havlng a good education does not mean that an individual is destined to be a white collar worker Eduaction will help anyone to do better the job whlch he plans to do A student should decide what he There is a great field in science America is not graduating e nough scientists to fill its present needs It se ms possible that the number of scientists n eded in the future will be even greater Russia is tralning more scientists than our country If we are to keep our place as a world power we will need more of our high school graduates ent ring and finishing college in all fields of study It is my hope that next fall we will find the majority of our seniors in college and graduating four years from now May you each have a prosperous, full, and happy life Sin P0 b0St wishes gewffdd Everett E. Bobbitt wants to do and follow that plan in his educational program.
