- -nawteen,lwA,4a- SUNSI-IINE. SOCIETY For twenty years the Sunshine Society has made its mark on the lives of the girls of Nineveh High School. The object of this organization, to help others, is expressed in the creed, which is: With love in my heart, forgetting self, and w ith charity for all I will make the object of my life helpfulness and kind- ness to others. I shall try to fit myself to give intelligent service in making my com- munity a safer and more beautiful place in which to live. Thus will my own life be- come rich and complete, The officers for the year 1945-46 are: President, Imogene Risk Vice-president, Leona Bay Secretary, Beckie Hardin Treasurer, Marie Martin Sponsor, Mrs. Harold D. Hibbs New girls in high school and the freshrnen girls were victims of both a fun and formal initiation during October. At Christmas time the society gave a party for the first four grades in the gym. Games and a visit from Santa Claus were enjoyed by both the little and big kids. On Sunday March 17 former members and sponsors of the Nineveh Society were guests of this year's society, at a twentieth anniversary party in the gym. The Sunshine's annual high school party honoring the basketball teams and student manager was Friday, March ZZ. This party is known for its fun and eats. This year a circus theme with a tight-rope walker, fortune teller and kissing booth featured the evening
