ninefeen fad., M CLASS HISTORY Believe it or not the Senior Class of Forty Six has made history. Whether this history will repeat itself or not is a little more than I can say, but it certainly has happened once at any rate. In passed years it has become customary that the graduating class draw up a historical account of the twelve grand and glorious years they have spent in learning WHAT'S WHAT. What ever What's What is, I'm sure you will understand after care- ful reading of this record of our happily spent school career. A brief history of the many good things our class has done will be given in a short review of each member. Jack Barnett, better lcnown as Professor Barnett, has contributed four years of his basketball playing ability to this High School. Also, he has spent his entire school life here. He wrote the sports section -of this annual. As pitcher of our baseball team jack has helped to make for himself in the field of sports. John Tharp spent eleven and one-half years at this school. Finishing his work at the end of the first semester of his senior year, he left to enter Franklin College. His ability for being a good representative of this school has been shown. Alice Flinn, our public speaking expert, entered this school when she was in the third grade, During these years she has built up enough mental capacity to try for a scholarship--the results are not yet known. As president of the junior Class she has been an important leader, She is an active member of the Sunshine Society. Due to her ability to get things done she was elected Editor-in-Chief of this annual. Juanita Hensley has had the great privilege of spending her entire school career here. She has not only been an active member of the Sunshine Society, but also taken part in many other school activities. She was secretary of the Freshman Class Her prominent personality has won her many friends. Marvin or Marv Richards, handy man or student manager of our basketball team has been one of the team's most active members. Serving on the Socialist ticket, Marvin has won fame as Vice-President of the Senior Class. He has pro- fited by having spent twelve years here. Oran Mitchell, or better still, Mitch , the Senior Class Historian, came to this school from Hopewell in his sixth year. He has taken part in basketball and ba- seball for four years, He has served as class president his freshman and senior years
