DEVELOPING OFFICE SKILLS The Nimitz Business Club is a new and exclusive organization to Nimitz this year. They provide services to students enrolled in business classes. During the course of the year they had planned candy sales, Christ- mas parties, and a Thanksgiving project. At the end of the year they awarded scholar- ships and recognized outstanding members. This was a new step, starting out in the year of 1974-75. The idea came from the students, since each club maintained enough members to support themselves. Having so many members, the clubs were very busy raising money for activities. Some activities which took place were a car rally, bowling matches, and picnics. The clubs also com- peted in various tournaments, one of which was the Inter- language Tournament, held Feb. 1, including all the clubs of different languages in Irving High Schools.
