FTA INDISPENSABLEAIDS The Future Teachers of America is an organization that promotes activities which are helpful to the school and the community. The FTA membership drive was held to attract more people who were interested in being active in a club. Activities which were carried out for the 1974-'75 school year were recordings for Plan A Teachers, helping teachers with various activities and collecting money for UNICEF on Halloween. Money raising projects for FTA included bake sales, and babysitting at PTA. The sponsors for FTA are Mrs. Wadley and Mrs. Branch. E t 1yl t.t, 1 .. The purpose of making achieve- ments in this club is setting goals for themselvesg in which they receive degrees for achieving these goals. DEVELOPING OFFICE SKILLS The Nimitz Business Club is a new and exclusive organization to Nimitz this year. They provide services to students enrolled in business classes. During the course of the year they had planned candy sales, Christ- mas parties, and a Thanksgiving project. At the end of the year they awarded scholar- ships and recognized outstanding members.
