They also participated in money raising projects such as selling light bulbs and putting on concerts. Both groups per- formed at the U.I.L. contest on April 22, 1975. Meetings for these clubs were attended during the class in which they had choir. The sponsor in charge of these groups is Mr. Davis. LEADERS OF SPIRIT- The 1974-'75 Cheerleaders of Nimitz provide the spark that sets off the fire of spirit. They work all week on skits and introductions to add variety to the pep rallies each week. This year's captain was Brenda Clarkston. Her job included putting together the pep ral- lies, teaching cheers, getting the chants going at games, and making sure that the other 4 girls knew what to do. The three senior cheerleaders were: Brenda Clarkston, Charlyn McGill, and Amy Leibensberger. The two junior cheerleaders were: Karen Copeland and Ruth McVay. -, ,gt 5 Y' ..,. at ff P t .
