l' ,44 46 girls make up the drill team this year, 7 of whom are officers. Under the new direction of Miss Kaye Crawford, the Vikas have taken on a new look. Their routines this year have been made up mostly of precision work in a different dance manner. The officers attended a summer camp at Loyola University in New Orleans. They learned many different routines and brought back a lst place trophy for their excellent performance. These girls performed at football games, pep rallies, and various other activities. Dances included: modern iazz, umbrella, disc, pom- pom, and high kick routines. At the last pep rally the senior Vikas performed their traditional last dance to the music of Step to the Rear.
