You in '72 An abundance of time and devo- tion has been spent to make this a great high school. This is Nimitz's first year to be an official high school. The people that are gradu- ating this year have long awaited the year of 1972 and the great things that are a part of it.

Dedication This book is dedicated to the Sen- iors of 1972, the first graduating class at Nimitz. Some of the people worked four hard years, while many had six years to bring togetherness between themselves. The years spent loving, sweating, and fighting hard to make this school great have paid off. People have respect for Nimitz because of the tradition the Senior class set. down for under- classmen to follow. The foundations for spirit, togetherness, and love for school, town, and one another are the main points bestowed on this school. The VALHALLA staff salutes and praises these Seniors, for a iob well done, with the theme, You in '72.

Frosh Need Helping Hand The freshmen are an integral part of a high school. They are the ones that have to deal with the classmen above them. The first day of school many freshmen, especially those who missed orientation, have trouble in trying to find where to go. The new students going into high school'are like fish out of water. They do not comprehend what to expect or how to act until someone teaches them. The class excelled in spirit this year. Enthusiasm was illus- trated by their performance during the pep rallies. They received the spirit award many times this year.
