Latin - Victorious Cata Pult The Latin Club's activities through the year were filled with many ex- citing things that the entire club par- ticipated. The club displayed their talents by participating in a cata pult contest against MacArthur and Eisenhower. Without batting an eye, Nimitz was victorious. They also at- tended the lunior Classical League Regional Gulf Coast convention for competition in acadmeic, art, and costume events. At Christmas, the Latin club enjoyed themselves at the Foreign Language Banquet. Students must be taking Latin or have taken it in the past to belong to this organization. Also one must at- tend all the planned activities since it is part of the club's requirements. Xgyfgg Y 3. 168 Organizations .A ,,.- ,lm ' . 4 it . ,W ' All W ' i 'IK g V- M .. V. A -www RWM 1 , .
