-- Spanish Have you ever heard of the saying where two is better than one? The Spanish club adopted this saying as they had two Spanish Clubsp one for Spanish l students and the other one for Spanish ll-IV. Mrs. Premo and Mrs. Ryals both feel this will encourage more students to join the clubs. As in the past, both clubs went once a month to a Spanish restaurant in the surrounding Houston area and from time to time had guest speakers to ex lain the Spanish language, customs, and way of life. Both Spanish Clubs participated in the Foreign Language Banquet at Christmas and added entertainment by bringing a pinata. The Spanish I students also sponsored a foster child for Christmas by participating in the i'Three Wishes pro- gram. The little girl was entitled to three giftsg however the club was able to give her more. They also visited a Children's Hospital in the Spring. 4. 1.
