ougar Choirs Hit High otes hroughout the 1984-85 year, the itz choir kept a busy schedule, 'lPuttin the Hits, the Pop Program, triggered beginning of the many programs in ich they would participate. In cember, the choir sang in the Christmas iri with the program PA Christmas sical Medley. They also entertained at cy's in Deerbrook, Greenspoint Mall, timist Club, the Marriott Hotel, and at opening of Deerbrook Commons. Two of Nimitz's piano soloists and 17 solo and ensemble students made 1's when the choir competed in the UlL con- cert and sightreading. Solo and Ensemble members who made 1's went on to Austin for the State Competition. A spaghetti din- ner was sponsored by the parents of choir and the choir students provided entertain- ment.
