Point 148 Organizations anishing Comes to NHS After a long exhausting week of taking final exams, the student council sponsored a well deserved night dance. The hard work began weeks before lanuary 17, with student council members meeting several times during study halls in order to prepare for the upcoming dance. During this time Vanishing Point was selected to be the entertain- ment for the night, posters and announcement were printed, and the excitement among the student body began to stir. The days went by fast until the night of the dance finally arrived. As you walked in, there was an explosion of strob lights, bubble and fog machines, and syn- thesizers pounding on the walls and floors of the cafeteria. The D.lfs played many of the favorite songs and took dedications as well. 'll enjoyed the dance so much, said Senior Belinda Perales, lll was able to hold my date real close during the slow songs. The evening was enjoyed by everyone. The dance floor was seldom empty and as the clock ran down to the last few seconds, the D.lfs announced the last song. There was a loud murmur throughout the au- dience of people who did not want to leave. The students left with yet another high school memory to hold within their hearts.
