Student Council Adds 'fish' to L.B. . Even though the Student Coun- cil vvas hit by House Bill 1172 pretty hard, they did manage to hold some fundraisers. The most suc- cessful Student Council event was the dance, in which Vanishing Point performed. Posters and an- nouncements vvere printed and the student body impulsively responded. The dance was a huge success. Other fundraisers spon- sored by the Student Council were the selling of Christmas Dog Stockings and Valentine's Day balloons. With the funds raised by Student Council through the year, they were able to purchase a Microfish file cabinet for the library. 1. 1984-85 Student Council Members. 2. Students dance to the beat at the annual Student Council dance held in lanaury. 3. FOUR YEAR MEMBERS - Stephanie Over- ton, Kim Taylor, Susan Trobough, Karen Moore, Michelle Whitehorn, and Buddy Howell. 4. Denise Wilson and Karen Moore help with the elections for the Stu- dent Council members. 132 Organizations
