l.V. Goes Over O0 Loyalty and pride to the Cougar tradition kept the Junior Varsity Basket- ball team learning and working hard throughout the season. With only six players on the team, the boys pulled together to play an above average season. 'lThese are good kids who want to win, said Coach Charlie Martin. During the season, the lunior Varsity Boys played their finest game against Forestbrook on the last second shot. They faced their toughest competition when they went up against MacArthur and Smiley. Coach Martin said there was not an outstanding player because all six young men contributed to the team a great deal. Next year Coach Martin sees better team potential as long as the team continues to work hard and strive for their goal.
