AHi+ude Leads lo Success The J.V. Basketball team ended this year's season with a 6-8 record. Coach Lavelle Hughes feels that several good varsity choices should come from this squad. Coach Hughes believes the team's strong points were a never give-up attitude and speed. She also feels that the girls had a successful season. Many of the games were lost in the last minutes of the game. The two main problems were lack of team effort and fouls. With a little more practice the girls should smooth out these rough edges, and start working towards a winning season next year. . y , cllcg , ' ,. i , N cl al Coach Lavelle Hughes discusses team strategy with Marion Lastrap and Don- na Dugas. bl Jinx Elmore slows it down to let the team set up an offensive play. cl Jinx Elmore goes up for a lay-up against Kingwood. dl 1981 J.V.
