Wilderness Wilderness Geis Close io Naiure Wilh Ouldoor Acliviiies The Wilderness Club is a group of students who have a mutual interest in outdoor activities. Peder Falls State Park, outside of Austin, was the clubs major activity over the Easter holidays. Five or six night and daily hikes made the year full of many sightseeing events. Double Lake, Lonestar Trail, Thicket, and Summerville Lake were a few places the Wilderness Club visited. A few of the members f the Wilderness Club have participated in the International Annual Easter Walk. These Walkfests were l in Montgomery and Comfort, Texas. The International Federation of People Sports and Ameri Volkssport Association also held a Walkfest at Kingwood where some of the Nimitz students participated The fundraiser for '81 was the selling of popcorn during December.
